513 Plumbing & Gas Solutions is a licensed, locally owned plumbing and gas line company based in Blue Ash, Ohio. We’re not a franchise, not a multi-brand roll-up, and not a dispatch center for a larger network — we’re a single, independent operation, and every job is backed by our own name and reputation in this community.
The company was founded by Andrew Cleary, a plumber with more than 25 years of hands-on trade experience, to give Blue Ash homeowners something he felt was missing: a plumbing company where the person who diagnoses the problem, quotes the price, and does the work is accountable to you directly — not several layers removed behind a call center or a corporate office.
Built on Trust, Honesty, and 25 Years of Hard Work
I got into this trade the old-fashioned way — riding in a truck, carrying tools, and learning from plumbers who took pride in doing a job right the first time. Over more than 25 years, I’ve worked on just about every kind of residential plumbing and gas project you’ll find around Greater Cincinnati, from older homes in Blue Ash to newer construction in Mason and Liberty Township.
Most of that time, I worked for other companies — some of them large, multi-crew operations. I saw firsthand how impersonal that model can get: a different technician every visit, a call center reading from a script, and sometimes quotas that push technicians toward upselling work a customer doesn’t actually need. It never sat right with me.
513 Plumbing & Gas Solutions is what I built once I decided to do it my own way: one standard, applied consistently, with my name attached to every job. It’s a newer company, but it’s not run by someone new to the trade — it’s run the way I’ve believed plumbing should be done for 25-plus years.
Blue Ash, Mason, West Chester, Montgomery, and the rest of the communities we serve aren’t just entries on a service-area list to me. I live in this area. That’s a different kind of accountability than a franchise with headquarters somewhere else can offer. From routine repairs to major underground work, our team handles residential plumbing, gas line services, drain cleaning, and commercial projects throughout Cincinnati with honest recommendations and quality workmanship on every job.
